When words are no longer enough

You understand what is weighing on you. But emotionally, nothing changes. PfR begins where conversation reaches its limits: through the body.

What is PfR?

PfR (Psycho-Functional Unblocking) - a body-oriented method that begins where conversation reaches its limits.

Illustration: body therapy - stored tensions release through gentle body work

PfR combines insights from neurophysiology, body psychotherapy and work with the subconscious. The body stores experiences - including those we have long forgotten.

In a PfR session, these stored tensions are gently released through targeted body work. Without force, without endless analysis. Your body knows the way - PfR gives it the space to find it.

The method is based on solid scientific foundations from Sechenov, Pavlov, Bekhterev and modern findings in trauma research by Peter Levine.

Who is PfR for?

You understand rationally what is going on - but emotionally you are not making progress? Then PfR could be the right path for you.

Stress and inner restlessness

You feel constantly tense, cannot switch off, and your body cannot find rest - despite knowing the causes.

Emotional blockages

Feelings such as anger, grief or fear are frozen. You sense that something is there but cannot grasp or release it.

Psychosomatic complaints

Tension, sleep disorders, digestive issues or skin symptoms without a clear physical cause weigh on your daily life.

Exhaustion and emptiness

Chronic fatigue, a feeling of inner emptiness, or the loss of joy and drive - despite an outwardly good life.

How does a session unfold?

Four phases over 3 days of 2 to 3 hours each, a safe framework. You remain fully in control at all times.

Initial conversation: a trusting atmosphere at the start

Verbal attunement

Dynamic phase: body work on the mat

Dynamic phase

Integration: body awareness and relaxation

Integration

01

Meta-message

A short video stimulus activates your mirror neurons and prepares the subconscious for safe processing.

02

Verbal attunement

Mindful conversation creates a safe space. Targeted questions map the topic.

03

Dynamic phase

Your body takes the lead. Spontaneous reactions release stored tensions and old patterns.

04

Integration

In the closing conversation, the new body sensation is anchored and carried into everyday life.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you want to know about PfR and my work.

PfR stands for Psycho-Functional Unblocking. It is a modern body-oriented method that releases unconscious inner conflicts through the body. Where words no longer reach, the body takes over: through targeted activation, stored tensions and old imprints are gently released.

A session takes place over 3 days of 2 to 3 hours each and consists of four phases: a preparatory meta-message, a mindful conversation, the dynamic body phase, and a closing integration conversation. You remain fully in control at all times.

PfR is for people who understand rationally but cannot let go emotionally. With stress, inner restlessness, anxiety, chronic exhaustion, psychosomatic complaints or emotional blockages, PfR can help resolve the causes at the unconscious level.

PfR is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medicine. The method is not suitable for acute psychological crises (e.g. severe depression, suicidal thoughts, psychoses), untreated trauma in an acute phase, strong dissociation or loss of contact with reality, active addictions without accompanying therapy, or acute medical conditions, which belong in medical care first. During pregnancy we carefully assess use depending on method and intensity. A prerequisite is always the willingness to take personal responsibility - PfR works best with stable people who are ready to look inward.

No. PfR is an independent body-oriented method and does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. It can, however, be used as a complement and shows particularly strong effectiveness with psychosomatic topics.

Many clients report noticeable changes after the very first session. The full effect typically unfolds within 3 to 5 days. Studies show an average relief after 1.8 sessions.

No, sessions take place exclusively in person. Individual sessions are held at the practice in Seon or at your home. Group sessions take place in Seon or at locations across Switzerland - for existing groups, mobile sessions are also possible. PfR works most strongly in direct, in-person contact.

A group session costs CHF 400 per participant (minimum 6, maximum 20 people). An individual session costs CHF 800. Both formats span 3 days of 2 to 3 hours each. Every booking begins with a free initial consultation, in which we clarify together what fits for you.
